01. Introduction
Bentod Inc. ("Bentod," "we," "us," or "our") provides financial data infrastructure designed to normalize, connect, and structure fragmented corporate financial information. This Privacy Policy details how we handle information processed through our APIs, web platform, and developer tools.
02. Information We Collect
We process data exclusively on behalf of our business customers ("Customers") who connect their upstream financial systems to our infrastructure.
- Financial Data: Bank account clearing statements, wire transaction memos, ledger journal lines, payment gateway capture records, and batch settlement files.
- Business Entity Data: Corporate legal names, tax registration identifiers (TIN/EIN), registered addresses, and known operating aliases.
- Transaction Records: Commercial invoice metadata, billing schedules, interchange fee breakdowns, and currency FX conversion rates.
03. How We Use Information
Data ingested into Bentod is used solely to construct the customer’s private financial graph, perform automated multi-way reconciliation, resolve entity aliases, and expose normalized APIs back to the authorized customer.
04. AI and Automated Processing
Bentod utilizes proprietary semantic machine learning models to infer entity relationships and match disparate transaction identifiers. We do not use customer financial records to train public AI foundation models or share identifiable financial payloads between distinct customer tenants.
05. Data Security & Encryption
All financial data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3, and all data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 with customer-isolated key hierarchies. Database access is strictly role-governed and audited.
06. Data Retention & Business Rights
Customers retain full ownership of their financial records. Upon termination of service, all raw payloads, normalized entity graphs, and generated ledger links are permanently purged in accordance with our data retention schedule.
